Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird

Spatial Coursework

Sketchup and Adobe Dimension

This spatial experience was inspired by The Wallace Stevens poem, Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird. The play of light across the central space evokes the flight of the blackbird and the more gradual shift of seasonal change.

“The blackbird whirled in the autumn winds. It was a small part of the pantomime.”
— Wallace Stevens
